What is Metal Stamping?
Metal stamping is also known as pressing. It is the process of placing the flat metal sheet in the coil or the blank form in a stamping press, thus makes the die and a tool surface forms the metal into a net shape.
The metal pressing process is a complicated one that involves blanking and piercing etc. usually this technique used efficiently on all types of metals. While dealing with thicker metals, shallow pressing is deployed.
